NEWS UPDATES
23rd May 2007 Giuseppe continues to improve with some fine form. There has been many races since Sepp's last report and with him working the tracks nearly every weekend, he just keeps learning and improving week after week. He has scored 2nd place overall at West Wyalong where the competition is renowned to be very fierce, while he had never been to that track before! Only last weekend he scored another 2nd place behind the current Australian Champion. What's almost scary is that he seems to have out grown and out powered his fully worked CR85 so he is now playing around with a new YZ125 on practice days and he still can't reach the ground when he needs to stop!!!!
20th February 2007 Giuseppe scores his first podium in flat track racing! Well the bike hard hardly been cleaned from the previous outing when Giuseppe has gone out and scored his first ever podium in flat track racing. Giuseppe really impressed with his continual improvement on his footwork and braking. What really stood out on the day was his determination to win and his ability to stand his ground when racing handlebar to handlebar. I never expected him to have this track aggression so early into the season. In 4 race heats he scored 3x 2nd and 1x 4th to finish 2nd overall for the day. Congratulations to Giuseppe, he did us proud!
4th February 2007 Giuseppe's first time out on the big HP CR85 The big day has come and gone for his first practice day on the CR85 at Allen Park in Somersby. Giuseppe really impressed by handling the power exceptionally well. He never backed off the throttle when the bike looked like it was going to turn nasty and we saw some spectacular fish tails in his first session coming off the corners for a very long way. His practice starts had my heart jumping out of my mouth with some really long, fast and high wheel stands from this extra power. He improved in every session as we dialled in some suspension and engine tuning and by the last session he was up with some very fast guys with his growing confidence. We left the track really pleased with the day's progress and Giuseppe is now looking forward to his first ever flat track race meeting in 2 weeks time at Bateman's Bay. With practice, practice, practice, we can expect to see Giuseppe do very well in his 2007 flat tracking racing ambitions.
