Welcome to my Racing History Book.

So after I banged the Swiss Hutless a couple of times into the street gutters, I also couldn't find a single smooth paddock to suit it (funny that), I was invited to go and watch "Superkarts" race a 2 hour Enduro at Oran Pk South circuit. This was in September 1993 and I was instantly in love with what I saw. On that day I learned that drive sprockets last about 40mins on the 100cc Non Gearbox without stopping to reapply the chain lube.

From Sept 1993 to Jan 1994, I did all my tasks to start racing. First I swapped my virgin bore KT100J for a "20 oversized KT100S. Next came the Horstman clutch, Membership to the NSW Superkart Club, a CAMS Superkart License, Race apparel, Helmet and yet another KT100S engine for spare.

So here I am, Feburary 1994 - Amaroo Park, my first ever race meeting. I didn't sleep the night before, I just couldn't believe I'd be racing on the very same circuit where all my racing heros have also raced. Being a "rev-head" I've always dreamed of driving my VK Group 3 Brock Commodore around Amaroo Pk, and now that I discovered the world's best kept secret, I'm now going to race my 100cc "Go-Kart" instead.....dreams do come true!
